Gasoline?

Yeah, thats how I do. Bored with normal assignments my photo class assigns so I usually do my own and here is some cool-ness:

My brother likes to pour more than enough gas on this bricks and my friend Jared likes fire extinguishers a little too much.

Winter Aftermath

It's April 26th and the weather is still crappy. Streets still haven't been cleaned. People still have studded snow tires on and as I repeat myself it is April 26. I was pretty stoked on how last tuesday was 83 degrees but not how 2 days after that it was 33 degrees and lightly snowing.

I was doing a photo assignment about CDA and how is changing so I chose to document Ironwood Drive and I took this photo:

In the Studio

Well a wonderful neighbor of mine Mark-Eric let me borrow his studio light. It was super sick to have a soft light and strobes set up in my house. I was originally doing it for a school project but it kinda turned out to be a photo shoot. I was having trouble with the lights getting them to flash but I finally figured it out and got it dialed. Here are them:

Last day @ schweitzer

Last day at schweitzer was very amazing. Super sunny, hot, and prime. I was taking advantage of the weather with my camera. While I was doing that I was filming Chair 2 Mound for Gared & Corey. I was kept busy. Here are some photos:

Nelson, BC

Hey people, Here are some of the photos from Nelson adventures. Lots of them turned out great. Nelson is such a fun town to just walk a round and snap photos. Yesterday and today I rode at White Water then tomorrow I am going up to BigWhite and then to Red Mountain. Tour De Canada. Take a look:

Shots this week

This week is a little hectic. Tryin' to get everything in before spring break but still doing lot's of home work. I have be photoing quite a bit and playing with exposures and shutter got some fun photos. There is this photo of the Water Bottle, Amazingly, barely any photoshop used, only levels and some burning and cropping. Pretty stoked on it.

The cool thing about this photo (besides not using photoshop) is that with this green laser pointer I have going through this bottle of water, the colors where just blazing out of the bottle.

..... The one of scott's car going by and you can vaguely see his car I was doing a reverse flash with a flash at the start of the shutter and the end of the shutter.
As you can see the photo of the car on the street with the gas station in the back ground is kind of noisy but I had to manage. What was really pissing me off was the rain lots of times, rain would fall on my lens and completely ruin the photo but I had to make due.

Hudson Goodness

What's up kids of the interweb. Today I was down at Hudson's Hamburgers (If you haven't been to Hudson's and your from CDA, there is something wrong with you, If you aren't from CDA and your ever come to CDA, you H A V E to go to Hudson's Hamburgers) Any ways, it was a nice day out today. So while I was in Hudson's I took quite a few photos. I took a frame-by-frame story of me eating the burger(I'll get that edited and loaded on to the blog and Myspace pronto!) so that should turn out cool as GIF. While eating my burger I was talking to the cook about art and photography. We got into talking about tattoos and he showed me the "art" on his arms and legs. They all have stories behind them too, such as being drunk in germany and getting a "late night tat" or just being bored and getting some tattoo. Really nice guy in the end though. Well any ways I had a good meal.

So anyways I got back from SLC, Utah last week (still un-packing my stuff :/ ) Which was totally sick. I got to ride Park City for 4 days. 4 Days of total epicness. Got to spend some good time with the father. But anyways, I was packing my gear up into the car and just getting stuff ready for leaving to the airport. So just getting it all ready I look over to the side of my car and see this:
